Title

Letter, Jimmie W. Monteith to Mrs. J.W. Monteith, England, January 1, 1944 (Ms1990_062)

Description

Jimmie refers to himself as a "boy" who wants nothing more than to be at home with his Mother. Jimmie talks about a "Scottie dog" named Roscoe hanging around the company and about another dog named Dagwood that was brought from Sicily. Jimmie says he had a cat in the camp named Jimmie but he ran off. Jimmie thinks that this year will be better for the family with smooth sailing and blue skies ahead.
