Dear Mother, England
A beautifull spring day - one of
the warmest we have had. For the last
few days I have been watching the birds
build their nest and have come to the
conclusion that the birds here are
practically the same as the birds
in Virginia. Guess Bob has plenty of
wild life around him now - there
are a few fellows here who have been
to New Caladonia and they say that
there isn’t much there. I have been
thinking about my girls a lot lately-
rather hope that your will spend
the summer in the country and have
a grand time just doing nothing
Love Jimmie
