We’ve had a steady stream of
guests since you were here, but now
I shall write my soul for a while in
the autumn woods. These heavy mists
fascinate me.
It did me good to see David
Worton again. I believe you don’t know
him. You two would understand one
another. When he read the other night
he created for the whole audience an
atmosphere of the most delicate nupticism
& even he insensitive were enthralled.
I don’t think he & Mr Frost like each
other very much, but they have lived in
the same small town!
Our best to you
Mary Leitch
