Nittany Lions for Hokies
Penn State football fans wore Hokie colors for their game on April 21, 2007 to show their support for Virginia Tech. A photograph was captured and printed on page 40 of the VT Magazine's Memorial Issue, 2007.
"It would be easy to mistake this Penn State Blue and White game for one of our own, with the stands flooded with VT's maroon and orange..." On April 21, 2007, 71,000 Nittany Lions became Hokies, chanting our refrain "Let's Go Hokies" as a display of solidarity and community.
