[Sony?] + Harvey Lofland had frequently asked me to go to there gathers and I had to the boys made different excuses for not joining at [length] on some publick occasions in [Town] Harvey asked me why I did not come & see his father. I am fully satisfied in my mind that Mr [Lofland?] has purr sued this cause towards me. [If?] I have to judge from no other circumstances than this. that any relation [Robert Pitzer?] his son in law before his marriage was in the habit of calling at my [House] and I acted the part of friend to him and [sine?] his marriage though he has been invited he has never crossed my Door had he not been prejudice against me shared by Robert Pitzer would not have broken off his friendships and duty from one who has been the friend of his mothers family As to this matter as Mr Lofland [seems] to take the [third?] very unkindly I will inform him when I see him or one of his sons. That he has behave badly towards me by [interfering?] when I had sold a young negroe girl that I raised to one of his nearest neighbors.
