First I was taken with a [billicousness?] was at length removed by applying to a Physician, who gave me some (of the world renowned) Calomel + Blue mass Pills – after that I was incapacitated for study for some time in account of a severe cold wh; some how or other I contracted; + before getting completely over that I was seized with the Diarrhea in its worst form. The Doctor succeeded at last, in checking this 3rd + last, though not the least, of my 3 weeks afflictions + during the last two or 3 days I have been able to eat nearly my usual allowance But I suppose all this is not very interesting to you. I presume you are now all bending every nerve to come off at the close of your exercises with credit to yourselves + Old Emory.
