I wrote only one letter to Frances while at sea for there just wasn’t any place to write and of course nothing we could write about. I’ve spent the past few days checking in and getting settled in my now quarters and now find that I will have to move for I’m going to school again and it isn’t at all convenient to where I live now. I’m not too excited about the school part but know its what I kneed for as you know I’ve practically been in the army for the past 8 months - so far as my work goes I mean - it will be a 2-3 months course I understand. There’s one nice thing about my new duty and its mail - yesterday I got the letter you mailed June 3rd + today the picture of Jimmie which was mailed May 23rd and was so glad to get it for I was afraid that it had been lost - both were forwarded from my last station before I left. Will put Jimmies picture in the folder with Frances + Fran. You also cleared up one point for me - in the last letter I got from you you were talking about transferring the VPS stock - I didn’t know the reason for it of course till your letter yesterday saying the VE+P Co had bought them out.
