Much of the material pertains to Ryan "Stack" Christopher Clark, baritone and student leader in the Marching Virginians. The collection contains the condolence materials received by the Marching Virginians after April 16, 2007. Much of the material pertains to Ryan "Stack" Christopher Clark, baritone and student leader in the Marching Virginians. This collection incorporates a variety of materials and artifacts, including correspondence, posters, banners, an American flag flown on the USS Constitution , scrapbooks, and a band uniform.

The events of April 16, 2007, forever touched the lives of all those connected to
the Virginia Tech family. The manner of grace and firm resolve demonstrated
by your faculty, staff and students has been an inspiration to our community.
The Student Senate of Baker University held a tree planting and remembrance
ceremony on May 3, 2007, in honor of those who died. A flowering dogwood
now holds a prominent place in a peaceful area of our quadrangle and is
accompanied by a plaque. We hope it will serve as a gentle reminder of the
significance of that fateful day and a source of inspiration in the spirit of
friendship, tolerance, and the principles of higher education.

An account of the resource
The collection contains the condolence materials received by the Marching Virginians after April 16, 2007. Much of the material pertains to Ryan "Stack" Christopher Clark, baritone and student leader in the Marching Virginians. This collection incorporates a variety of materials and artifacts, including correspondence, posters, banners, an American flag flown on the USS Constitution , scrapbooks, and a band uniform. Many of the materials were sent to the Marching Virginians from other bands and are signed by band members from these various institutions.
