General Order: In accordance with Special Order No. 149 of the Head Quarters of Virginia Forces, Richmond assigning me to the command of the Alexandria line. I have relieved Brig. General. M. L. Bonham of said command. Signed: G. T. Beauregard, Brig. General. Commanding, June 2, 1861.
