Dear President Steger:
Philadelphia University sends Virginia Tech our deepest sympathy for the members of
your community who were lost in the tragedy on April 16, 2007. We share the pain of
the families and friends of those victims, and offer the entire Virginia Tech community
our support. As you begin to heal the wounds that remain from this irrational act of
violence, we stand with you. Please find a copy of our April 19th memorial ceremony
and original commemorative banner enclosed. In addition, Philadelphia University will
send the funds collected from contributions and Virginia Tech hat sales directly to the
Victims Memorial Fund. We join you in hope and renewal, remaining steadfast in our
efforts to offer a bright future for all students.
