Hokies Fly High
Description
Photo of Army Captain Brande Reeves in her Apache Helicopter, sent to Virginia Tech by her mother in rememberance of April 16th. On her second tour of Iraq, Captain Reeves flew the flag of her alma mater in honor of the victims. She wrote: “As we can’t much wear maroon and orange out here with our uniforms, I’ll speak for the Hokies in Iraq and say that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are all linked by this event, causing us to reflect on our lives and our past.”
