United States flag flown over the U. S. Capitol on April 18, 2007
This United States Flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol Building on April 18, 2007 in honor of the victims of the shootings. It was flown at the request of Virgil H. Goode, Jr. who represented the Virginia 5th congressional district at that time. Goode was asked to make the request by William Davis, who was a professor in the College of Engineering at the time.
