Condolences
Among the over 7,000 items Virginia Tech received in the days, months, and years following the tragedy of April 16th, condolence letters, cards, and other forms of correspondence is one of the biggest category of items. These include reflections about the tragedy, well wishes and encouragement, and the coming together of the Virginia Tech community and the world as a whole.
The three pages which follow feature some of these items, including children's drawings and sympathy cards with writings and illustrations, primarily by hand.
