The Fletcher family (Stevenson W. and his wife, Margaret R., along with four of their seven children, Robert, Richard, Stevenson, Jr., and Peter) lived at Solitude between 1908 and 1914. Stevenson, Jr. and Peter were born there. This collection of materials includes scrapbook pages and photographs handed down through Richard Fletcher's family and a memoir by Stevenson Fletcher about the years the family lived in Blacksburg.
